‘Call Your Mother’ was released in celebration of Women’s History Month and honors African women by delving into topics of love, freedom, style, identity and more, through intimate phone conversations between a group of Black millennial women and their mothers. Created by women-led creative agency, FourTwo Creative, the video explores how the lessons and experiences passed down by their mothers are critical to who they are today. The conversations between mothers and daughters reveal the strong intergenerational bonds that shape each woman’s unique connection with her mother.
