There are pivotal times in history when making the decision to move forward through uncertain times has resulted in humanity coming together to protect the most vulnerable communities.

There are also times when the historical moments are private and isolating, where no one is swooping in to protect us from unprecedented times such as the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

And still there are moments when you experience something that makes you feel so very alone and yet so many have walked before you. The moment you’ve been struggling with fertility issues - there’s someone else who has been there. The moment when you’ve experienced a miscarriage or loss - there’s someone else who has been there. The moment when you’ve stared at the pregnancy test in silence - there’s someone else who has been there. The moment when your newborn blows out their diaper at 2am in the morning (again) - there’s someone else who has been there.

As we wade through the waves of uncertainty, I can’t help but think about these moments being “our” moments and this time as “our” time to remember that we are not alone. There’s always someone else who has been there and we are here together.

By design, Poppy Seed Health is your someone else. We are a telehealth solution that works best in times like these because our advocates are entirely remote, making accessibility to a doula, midwife or nurse easier than ever. Our members are all over the globe and we are proud to be able to support them at any time from anywhere.

Social distancing will not get in the way of us supporting you. We are there for you anywhere, anytime. We’ll get to the other side and will be a stronger tribe because of it.

To that end, we are thrilled to interrupt your corona feeds with our March newsletter where we are celebrating Women’s History Month and a few super mamas who inspire us.

We think you’ll be inspired too.

With Love,

Simmone

P.S. We are offering one month free access to our 24/7 text services to any womxn that would like to join Poppy Seed Health to gain access to the emotional support that you need now. Pass it on!
