Jennifer is a mom of six who is pregnant with baby number seven. With Poppy since the beginning, Jennifer started out as part of a doula co-op in South Jersey along with six other doulas when the founder heard of Poppy Seed Health and reached out.
Following the birth of her first baby, she found herself struggling with lactation in a way that she says was “completely unexpected with my knowledge and experience, and it was then I decided to become a lactation counselor in order to be able to provide better care for my patients.”
Clarissa first came to birth and postpartum work as a teen mom. Today, she teaches classes and provides support to teen moms in her home state of Georgia.
