On Fatherhood

Dr. Olufemi Sonubi is a physical therapist and soon-to-be-father. We caught up with him to ask what he thinks it will be like to make the big jump into fatherhood.

When I think about becoming a Father, I get anxious. Will I be able to provide everything she needs? Then I remind myself that I’m not alone. Thankfully I have my beautiful wife who supports me everyday.

I wonder what our daughter will be like. I want to know what makes her laugh. I’m excited to play with her and facilitate an environment which promotes her joy.

I’m excited about the challenges that come. The gift of fatherhood is one I accept with open arms.
