Write Your (Push) Life - Virtual Edition

Our Editorial Director, Ruthie Ackerman, wrote a piece this week for Oprah Magazine about being pregnant during the coronavirus pandemic. Lucky for us she’s offering her next 6-week class virtually (and she’s also offering a sliding scale scholarship option).

For those who don't know Ruthie, she’s the former deputy editor of ForbesWomen and she’s been a journalist for over a decade and a half. She’s written for the NYT, WSJ, Refinery29, The Atlantic, Newsweek, Salon, Slate and more. Most recently she wrote a Modern Love column on egg freezing that’s a must-read.

Ruthie’s workshop will launch April 6th (the dates are April 6, April 14, April 20, April 27, May 4, and May 11), a mix of Mondays and Tuesdays from 6:30pm-8:45pm via Zoom. Her workshops are for those who want to set aside the time and space to write in a supportive environment, learn the craft of fiction, memoir and personal essays, and get their work out into the world.

For more details, or if you have any questions, email her at ruackerman@gmail.com.
